This girl was carrying the banner that is at the very front of the parade at the Disney-MGM Studios. She evidently knew some people in the crowd because she was laughing and pointing to herself as if saying, "Yeah, its me!" [This attachment has been purged. I saw the 300mm, ISO800, manual WB, f/5.6, 1/800, taken in Av mode from the EXIF data. They only thing I didn't do was open the image in DPP or Zoombrowser to get the info myself, since only Canon (and some of the RAW converters) know the secret EXIF data that tells the lens code. But that's why I love my Firefox plugins.
I'm also thinking of adding on the DO to rent for my Feb trip, since it would be shorter to carry around then the 70-200, plus I'll have extra reach, and I don't need the speed of the 2.8. Not to mention the fact the white lens factor. I remember all the problems with the first generation DO in the 400 - mostly the onion ring problem - from what you've posted, plus I finally found someone that admitted there was a problem apparently with the first batch of the 400 DO as the newer ones don't have the onion ring problem...yet it's not a "II"...hmmmmmm The 400 DO is an intriguing option over 300/2.8 with a TC because of the weight.
