yes, my grandmother passed in 99 and they had been married over 65 years at that point i wish the photo i had of him as a young man in the 1920's was in color, he's astride his ride of the time, an indian motorcycle, he has always maintained they were a smoother, more powerful bike at that time than a harley, and he has a full head of flaming red hair, my grandmother always maintained that's what attracted her to him, he stopped at the little ice cream parlor freight office her parents ran next to the railroad station for an ice cream cone, and she told her sisters she had just seen the most handsome man on a motorcycle of course he says it's because all 7 whittington sisters worked there and he figured he get get a date with at least one of them
bride and groom so i just finished editing & pp of the wedding pics, so i thought i'd include what i think is my best reception shot of the bride and groom did i mention i really dislike working in the standard reception sickly yellow incandescant lighting?, so mi batch convert from raw using a 5200 kelvin white point usually set on the bride's gown, i think it gives me the best results without too much custom work of each pic being able to do stuff like that is for me the biggest advantage to shooting raw kristie lee faucon-welch,and bridegroom taryl welch, bride and groom met while attending virginia tech and graduated together go hokies the bride is the photographer's neice, my sister's oldest oh and if someone with more time and skill than i have wants to take a whack at cloning out that overgrown corsage, a classic example of try to pay attention to EVERYTHING that's in the viewfinder, of course if i had tried to move i might have missed the moment, taken during the toast ceremony [This attachment has been purged.
