the changing of the guard

    Ospreys take turns guarding the eggs or chicks. One will fish while the other guards the nest..
    first is the male landing and 2nd is the female taking off from the nest

    Very nice - crisp and great detail, and a wonderful moment captured. The first shot with the wings spread is especially nice.

    thanx .. These were about 40 yrds out and I was at full zoom so I am surprised at how much detail I got with the tamron. Had to crop zoom also. I think I need the hubble telescope for birding
