    Fantastic shot Michael. ; Did you have to wait long for the spot?

    Thanks, John! ; Actually I didn't wait long at all. ; This is one of those cases where I just got lucky. ; After arriving too late to get anywhere near a front row spot, I decided not to bother with it and went elsewhere in the park. ; About an hour after the parade should have run I walked through the hub again and realized that were were a lot of people standing along the parade route and overheard a CM mention to someone that the parade was delayed by technical difficulties and was just about to start. ; The delay had thinned the crowds and I was able to get a second row spot where I could hold the camera above the people in front of me and get the shot.

    Thats great! ; Gotta love when something like that happens, even though it is not very often.

    Nice shot! ; I love it when a plan or non-plan comes together. ;)

    Did you take a single shot for that one, or composite two? ; Looks fantastic - love the composition of the castle and the parade coming through the bottom of the frame. ; Just wondering if the shorter shutter needed for the parade action would also let you capture the castle OK, or if you needed to merge two frames or post-process to bring up the castle exposure.

    Thanks guys! ;

    Justin, that was one shot. I was in the second row and didn't have enough room to set up a tripod, so I used live view and held the camera above my head to get the people in front of me out of the frame.

  8. Love it! ; You even got some light off the crowd next to the float. ; Very nice.
