  2. Gorgeous picture! Great colors!

But from what I've seen Im not crazy about the show! Ive got a MK view at BLT in May and they take the fireworks out of the nighttime show? Way to go cheap-o Disney!

Nice shot Scott. ; I saw the video of the show over at wdw news today and it looked pretty cool. ; I hope to get a chance to see it sometime.

Did that show replace Wishes? ; I still see Wishes on the schedule- but I don't see the new show anywhere- what's the deal?

The video of the MM&Y is really cool BTW- just don't want to loose Wishes.

I believe that this is in addition to wishes.

  6. Keeping my fingers crossed that you're right!

  7. Never mind - I'm good. Im seeing that the new show will begin @ 7:40 before 8 PM Wishes. Or 20 minutes before Wishes.

Wishes follows the new show so no worries there. ; Don't know how such a rumor got started.

This is not a show for still photography. ; Long exposures won't work. ; The projections change constantly and many of the projections include video or moving animation. ; The online videos probably capture the show better.

I saw it again tonight with guests and I didn't get as clean a look as I did the night they showed it for the media (notice no people in front of the castle in the shot I posted). BTW, there is a couple of other projections I will post once I get them processed later this week which look great for a web size but blown up show motion and blurring where photos were changing.

I can't wait to give a try. I'll probably see Wishes a couple of times so I'll have a couple shots (pun intended) at it. :) great shot and great color!

We went to check it out tonight also- I thought it was pretty good- something to look at while waiting for Wishes anyway.

I took a couple hand-held shots- I'll post a few tomorrow if I got anything worth keeping.

Can't wait to see them Jeff. ; You usually knock it out of the park.

The Tron Castle projection which happens during the start of the show before photos are added.

Caught someone's flash here. ; You can see how guest photos are added.

    Another neat color projection.

A closeup of one of the guest photos I was lucky enough to catch.

Towards the end of the show (before the fireworks are let off), they make a composite photo of Walt Disney.

Great shots, Scott. ; I'm glad they included the Tron projection - I loved it at the start of the movie.

It looks like they added some screens to enhance projection of the guest photos. ; One that I notice is in front of the balcony, just below the clock. ; Do they detract from the castle during the daytime?

I didn't notice them until I started working on the photos. ; I did not look to see if they have them up during the day. ; I am thinking the balcony one is not there until needed for this show but I can not confirm that.

Love these shots, Scott. Great work photographing what was probably a difficult show given the potential for color bleed, and the necessity for shorter exposures. ; I cannot wait to see this show!

Great work on these shots. You were really able to pick up a lot of the detail from the projections.
