Reminds me of the (okay I think it's gone now) apple at Snow White at DL. <img src="http://www.themeparkphotos.us/cpg140/albums/uploads/052607B/G/DL0899340_resize.jpg" /> Look at the bottom of the pic, near the center. If you touched the apple, thunder would crackle and the evil queen would laugh, and appear in the window above by pulling open the curtains. One of those little known cool things of the park, which I don't think they've done since Indiana Jones, from the pole that would cause the ceiling to cave in, or the rope down a well that would elicit a response from the "person" down below.
That does sound like a neat trick. When last I checked the rope down the well existed at Hollywood Studios (back when it was still MGM) at WDW. Otherwise all I can think of are the talking drinking fountains at Epcot which I haven't seen in many years, I don't really know if they still exist at all.
I used the rope just in November at the studios so I know it is still there. I will have to look a little harder for some more of these hidden treasures.
There is a well and a rope outside the Indiana Jones Stunt Spectacular at DHS. If you tug on it, you hear a voice from inside the well say random things
