I used the 11mm lens to purposely distort this fella!

Nice work Craig. Those wide angle lenses are a lot of fun to play around with.

Oh, I'm going to have fun with this lens. But, how can you tell it's distorted? ;D

Gorgeous Craig...especially the night shots outside. And I love the wide perspective on some of the interior shots like the suspended walkway. Sunset room is my place - I chill out there all the time when I'm at the lodge - I can just spend an hour staring at the old English explorer antiques and old Africa photos on the wall - and getting lost imagining the stories attached to them. And I love the room's design - I wish I could have a room like that at home (it inspired my 'Explorer's Lounge' in my house, formerly known as my living room, which is all British-Empire decor from Asia, Africa, and the Caribbean).

I was going to post some AK lodge pics myself, but putting up a new thread of shots against this one is just futile! :)

Nice shot Craig! Glad to see that you make it over to my favorite every once in a while! Kona is a great place to eat.

  10. It is kind of hard to tell that pic is distorted in a way. Our friend there is not completely flat.
