When I got my Xti, Tim told me it would be a matter of time before I had a bag full of lenses, etc. Well, I just recieved my new lens. The Canon 50mm f/1.8 II. Im so excited about this lens. I took some pics of my kids at school with my 18-55 kit lens but was wishing for more bokeh (the background was not exactly ideal). Time to go play with my new lens!
I like the other nickname "the nifty fifty". I happy to report that my lens has not yet succumb to some of the reports. It fell of a chair this morning but happily did not shatter into pieces! Watch next time I pick it up it will break....oh I hope not. :-\
