A friend of mine wrote me some custom noise reduction profiles for Topaz DeNoise 5 and I think they are fantastic. ; BEFORE
Even though I already have two other NR programs, my last favorite is taking their time creating a 64 bit version. ; So....maybe I'll give Topaz a whirl.
Can you share a 100% crop of something with some detail? ; Right now I use Noise Ninja but it can wash away details you don't want to loose.
Jeff. here is a review of it from Luminous Landscape. this is a review of the last version of denoise http://luminous-landscape.com/reviews/software/topaz.shtml
this is the best noise reduction program that i have ever used and i really used to love imagenomic noiseware. ; this blows it away hands down. ; since i have custom profiles for each ISO, i just created separate actions for each one then sort them by ISO in adobe bridge.
I've been a fan of Denoise since version 3, but the latest version 5 is really stunning...it does an amazing clean up job while mostly leaving details completely alone - with enough fine tuning ability to really get the balance right - and the black level restoration is a very nice addition.
Free 30 day trial...I'm in for a test. ; There is a $30 off coupon if purchased before August 31, 2010. ; I've heard lots of great things about this version.
very nice! I'm really happy with the Lightroom 3 nose reduction. ; I have setup presets for the various ISO settings for my camera as well and these can be applied during import if desired. ; Saves mucho time!
No, if you go to the website Tim posted, you'll see the coupon code at the top of the page. ; It even follows you as you scroll up or down. ; Hard to miss.
