view from the officer's seat

    ok, so here it is, i think i figured this out, the view from the officers seat, engine 6-1-1, as my band of brothers and i march in the washington's day parade hosted by the greenport volunteer fire department. i'm usually back in the rear cab jump seat, maybe strapping up a scott air pack, ahead is 6-1-30, the chief of depatment's car, ahead of that our small hardy band of marchers

    It looks like the issue is your image link doesn't end in JPG.

    That's a good one, Gary. ; He looks like a character and nice antlers, too.

    that's gus, he's 82 and still active. the antlers were from a deer that tried to stare down the engine one night when they were going to the county training center

    ok, so i'm making some progress here, the above photo is while pulling up to the host department's main house, and it links to the full size at the website, now i just need to add text before the photo link

    Oh, I know! ; I'm not saying it from the POV of a fit young guy saying 'good for the old guy'...I'm saying it from the POV of an out of shape middle aged guy saying 'darn, that guy's spryer than me despite being twice my age'!
