Sorry..this one is in New York and is a close suburb of Syracuse. ; If you travel up my way, I have a couple of restaurant suggestions. ; Looking for a nice sit down dinner with good food at a good price? ; Then Mother's is for you. ; Good Italian and seafood here. ; And with a name like Mother's, could you really go wrong?

If you just want a hot dog or coney, Heid's of Liverpool has been a staple since 1917. ; Tasty Hoffman's hot dogs and coneys served on fresh Freihofer rolls. In season, there is an ice cream stand next door for sundaes, cones and even Dole Whip treats. Had me a couple of coneys before taking these photos.

Looking for a nice friendly neighborhood bar to wet your whistle? ; Then stop at the Cobblestone on the corner of Tulip and 1st Streets. (Replaced original photo with HDR image of the building)

Check out D. G. Lawns Flower Shop to get some tulips to plant in your garden.

Then wander down to the Onondaga Lake Park where I found the Weeping Willows have already leafed out. ; Their leaves blowing in the soft evening breeze with the late afternoon Sun creating a warm green-yellow glow about them.

On the next warm weekend afternoon, I think I'll come back here with a good book and sit under the willows.

that bike/walk.rollerblade path around most of the lake is a real nice ride. too bad it doesn't go all the way around, then it would be the perfect 20 mile ride

Great stuff Scott, maybe we need an impromptu TMIP Photowalk in the Syracuse area one of these days!

The willow photo shot from the base of the trunk is very popular. ; Seems to bring back a lot of memories for folks.

Justin and Paul, you are welcome to come visit anytime. ; Ask Gary, I'm a pretty good host for photography around here. ; BTW, Gary, let me know if and when you'll be coming up in the fall.

Updated Photomatix Plugin for Aperture 3 today so I updated the OP with an HDR image of the Cobblestone.
