    Thanks Peter! ; I actually just got lucky as he passed and did not crop much at all on that one.

    I took this photo on a dive in Hawaii in November 2011. ; The plane is located about a mile southeast of Diamondhead. ; The story we were told was that the pilot was flying back into Hickham in 1942 and ran out of fuel and belly landed the plane. ; It sunk straight to the ocean floor 107 feet down.

    Best dive ever!

    Good shots and exposure John! The Corsair is a great bird to see in flight and I love the sound of that massive radial engine. Wonder if Dan was flying the Corsair that day. Did you get a chance to talk with the pilot? American Air power has a choice collection and they never disappoint ; :).

    Thanks Jason, all those planes have such a great sound! ; I only talked to a pilot that brought over a P-51, and it was dumb luck that I caught him. ; I did not see any pilots hanging with their planes unless they were giving rides.
