    Took my Tokina 11-16mm with me to the Onondaga Redhawks box lacrosse game last night. ; I set my Nikon D700 to go as high as 10K ISO and I was shooting through glass. ; You'll see the difference on the one photo I used Noise Ninja on. ;

    Onondaga Redhawks (in white jerseys) setting up a play in the offensive zone.

    Although a bit distorted being towards the edge, this gives you an idea how much upper body protection box lacrosse goalies wear.

    Redhawks Trevor Clark (2) fires a shot wide of the goal.

    Used Noise Ninja on this photo of Redhawks Dave Limbouris (5) scoring a goal

    Here's Dave celebrating his goal. ; No cropping done here so you can see the full angle of view.

    In the square crop to pull in the eyes to the action. ; No goal on this attempt.

    The 10,000 ISO experiment worked well. ; I got better exposures with this lens and the Nikon 70-200mm VRI.

    Nice! So this is DX mode on the D700?

    No, from 15-16mm, the Tokina does not vignette on an FX sensor. ; :)
