    Erich that second shot is a great angle. ; I want to give that a go, but at night. ; I wonder how the colors would change that shot.

    Hm, good question. I'll have to try it at night too.

    Just my luck for facing the wrong way. ; The lighting on this one is excellent, Scott. ; I was going to ask about it until I saw ISO 6400 in the EXIF data.

    Dear Santa: ; All I want for Christmas is a D300 with a D3s sensor. ; Thanks.

    You might get your wish if Nikon ever announces the D400, Dennis.

    Really like the new staging and dress for Off Kilter.

    After Off Kilter, Dennis and I went to Mo'Rockin (as previously reported).

    We meet up with Dr. Jim for the Taiko Drummers performance in Japan.
    [IMG]

    While Jim enjoyed a couple of Jim Beam Lenonades, I photographed the Fife & Drum and Voices of Liberty (with John and his Mom). ;

    My thanks to Dennis for the loan of his Tokina 11-16mm f/2.8 UWA lens since I had left mine back in the room.

    Nice shots Scott! ; I like the look for the Voices of Liberty using the wide angle, going to have to try that next summer! ; And those lemonaides were great!

    "If" is the key word. ; It sounds like the D400 won't be announced until after the D800, and the D800 won't be announced until Nikon has a factory that hasn't been hit by a natural disaster. ; :)

    Most of the time my 11-16 was way too wide, bit it did give a few unique opportunities.

    Erich, that must have been the photo you were taking when I took the photo of you. ; I'm on the fence about it. ; Like the sunburst but not sure about the other elements.

    Took this photo after the JAMMitors finished their show.

    It probably was that shot, as it was almost straight up. Yeh, that's what I was thinking, there's just nothing drawing me to it other than the sunburst.

    Keep shooting. ; You never know what kind of expressions you'll catch.

    Dennis, reminds me of Ralph Kramden (Jackie Gleason) telling Alice (Audrey Meadows)..."to the Moon, Alice!".
