I love to watch Tinkerbelle fly away from the castle and then the fireworks begin in earnest.

Obviously I need to leave the shutter open longer but sometimes I like the effect

Nice work. ; I really like the 3rd one of your set, did you use a small aperature to get the star effect?

If this is the photo you're referencing, I took this with a Canon EOS 5D Mark II with the 70-200 f 2.8 IS II USM lens set at 95 mm. 1/30 sec at f 9.0, ISO 6400. I always use a skylight filter. I think the starburst is more a function of the lens. You can see the lens flare within the starbursts. I edited it out of the rest of the sky.

And thank you for the kind words

  7. Nice work Doc! I like the Boy and Dad shot.

You guys have heard the story about "Tinker BILL" right?

There is a photo floating around on the Disboards where somebody got a fairly clear shot of Tinkerbell with something like a 300+ mm lens and Tinkerbell has a pronounced mustache, hence the name "Tinkerbill". http://i657.photobucket.com/albums/uu294/natebenma/DIS%20trip%20report/Tinkerbill.jpg

    I know, I know... TMI!!!
