POTD = Characters

Definitely a problem with this thread. ; I reported it to Tim as I couldn't figure out what was wrong with it. ; It happened once before, and I think he fixed it...so hopefully it'll be back on track soon.

 

i am working on it.... ; give me some time to figure this one out.

 

ok, i have been able to combine the working portions of the POTD characters threads into one that you can keep using but until i figure out what is going on with the other portion of the thread, those posts may be lost. ; you can use this thread to keep going.

through a lot of research and support from the SMF team, we were able to isolate the "dead thread" issue to an attachment that was too large for the system to handle. ; i have removed the attachment and resized it to a more suitable size which brought the broken page back to life. ; i have merged it back into this thread so we are back up and running and no posts or images were lost. ; WHEW!

 

Good work! ; Just for an FYI for all of us...what was the 'too large' file size, so we can all try to be aware of that so we don't exceed it and crash any other threads?

 

It was an almost full sized Image. ; Note the reminder that I added to the posting area, right below where you would attach your pics. ; Linked images can be whatever size you want them to be. ; ;
