Michael, I have no idea! ; I just came across it today at the Colorado River Preserve near my office....I should look it up! ; (The bluebonnets have peaked, and I'm hoping that more of the wildflowers will come out....I think they still have another week or two before they do so...I have to go back and this time bring my tripod and flash for the ants...and flowers)

Since yesterday was the first day of Peak Bloom[nb]The day(s) when 70% of the blossoms are open. ; Peak only lasts for a couple of days and can be shortened by high temperatures, rain, high winds and or frost.[/nb] for the Yoshino Cherry trees in Washington DC, here's a cluster of blossoms:
