Tomorrow is the 100th running of the Indy 500. During the 50th running, in 1966, cars looked a lot like this Gerhardt. It's hard to believe that over half of the 500s have been run with mostly rear-engined cars.

I had a full and busy summer. One of the highlights was photographing the NY Collegiate Baseball League All-Star Game which included a Home Run Derby. I got right out in front of the hitters (behind a safety net mind you) and got some great shots. Here's one of the winner.
