    I still love a nice cardinal though- if thats all that seems to come out to play.

    Cardinals are still beautiful birds. ; I have nesting pairs in my backyard - and always sneak a few shots of them even though I have dozens already. ; And don't forget the 'grass is greener' rule - birds that may seem 'blah' and common for one person can be stunning and rare to another. ; For example, I saw and photographed the American Robin for the very first time this year, last month. ; Dozens of local bird photographers were having a conniption and vying to get shots...because we never see robins down here!!

    Our yard is covered with Robins ; from October to March here in Georgia- as far as cardinals- my gosh- we have an invasion of them :) also a couple pairs of Red Headed Woodpeckers- and a Pileated pair... they are hard to catch though.

    Agreed! ; I don't mind them at all. ; Heck, I keep posting hockey pics.
